From your UHS PTSA:
A few reminders during the busy holiday season....
1. The UHS PTSA Meeting scheduled for December 15 has been cancelled. We will have our next meeting on Tuesday, January 12 (one week earlier than scheduled due to schools being closed the 18th through the 20th.). Meetings are at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center. Hope to see you there.
2. The Safe and Sane committee would like to remind you that Fall Raffle Tickets are due Wednesday, December 16th by 6:30 p.m. The drawing will be that night at the Winter Concert which begins at 7:00 p.m. You may turn them in that night in the auditorium lobby until 6:30. Do you need more tickets? Please email uhsptsa@aol.com and we'll get them to you ASAP. Thank you to everyone for your continued support of our 2010 Senior Safe and Sane.
3. The Safe and Sane committee would also like to remind SENIORS that the $25.00 registration fee deadline is rapidly approaching.. DECEMBER 31, is the cut-off date. All registrations turned in starting January 1, 2010, are $50.00. Registrations may be mailed into the PO box listed at the top of the form or into the front office.
4. For those students who participated in the Kaplan SAT/ACT Practice Test fundraiser, your results will be available Thursday night, December 10th at 7 p.m in the Media Center. A Kaplan representative will present these along with information about your score and other valuable tips in preparing for the SAT/ACT. If you cannot attend, please email uhsptsa@gmail.com and I will make arrangements to get your results to you.
5. Just a friendly reminder from the UHS PTSA Spirit Wear Committee: Spirit Wear and UHS Ornaments make fabulous Holiday Gifts! Please email uhsptsa@gmail.com or call Noelle at 301-831-8838 to inquire or arrange for purchase. These items will be sold prior to the Winter Concert on December 16th starting at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium Lobby.
